We understand that you probably have many questions regarding our crisis management offering, here’s our most asked.

If you need to speak with one of our team members, get in touch today!

Are you a safer choice over a traditional PR firm?

In a way yes, in a way no. We don't specialize in traditional PR as a crisis agency; we have extensive PR experience and know it inside and out. Still, we don't believe traditional PR crosses well with crisis management these days. A crisis situation is incredibly different in 2022 compared to even only 15 years ago, thanks to social media and the internet.

We will never suggest the classic “safe” option of staying quiet with a naff statement.

Why? We like to take risks and believe there's always an opportunity to get our celebrity clients in a better position than before. So, simply fixing the situation is the bare minimum for us.

We specialize in crisis, meaning we understand every element of it; we know what will please your audience and backfire. We'll find a way to twist and adapt to push the celebrity into a positive light.

Our offering is not for everyone, and if you’re looking for a PR firm that will help write a statement. We won’t want to work with you as we know this won’t be a strong fix. If you’re looking for a dedicated team to work with you and work together, take a risk to try and fix and potentially better your image. We’re an excellent option for you.

What are some of the biggest challenges for crisis management today?

One of the biggest challenges is the speed a crisis can come. One random Tweet can cause a global cancellation with zero evidence or facts. It's terrifying.

The fact that a lie, opinion or allegation can outrace and outpace the truth is a massive concern for both celebrities and brands.

The only positive is that today's public wants to hear directly from organizations and celebrities once a cancellation occurs. There is little interest in only hearing from the media.

The issue is that they expect a response fast from the celebrity or brand. That’s where we come in.

I found you on Google; HOW can I trust you?

Honestly, you can't. You can trust that we're good at SEO, so that's something. You're welcome to have a chat with us and see if you like us. We can provide crisis management results with names scrubbed out, you're even welcome to guess who they are, but we take our client's privacy and NDAs very seriously. We have the luxury of relying on word of mouth, and most of our clients are sourced this way. The negative is that you'll never see evidence… The positive is that you can trust that your name won't be shared and blasted in our marketing.

Disclaimer: No awkward headshots are featured on this website.

I have some juicy knowledge OF a celebrity. WILL you help get it out to the public?

Nope, we receive regular emails with people sharing pretty awful secrets about celebrities. We can’t lie; the emails we have received make our coffee breaks interesting, but we won’t entertain them. We’re here to help improve reputations, not destroy them.

Do you work alongside other PR agencies?

Working with other agencies is something we’ve done for some crises; in some instances, there have been over eight other PR agencies involved! Carnage. As we said above, we usually clash with traditional PR firms. For example, we will never recommend a simple statement or, even worse—an apology when you’re innocent. A conventional PR firm would recommend this and help write the statement for you.

We also understand that when you’re being canceled, you’re terrified and want as many opinions as possible. So we’re just transparent from the start that we usually clash with other PR firms.

Can we use you as an extra opinion alongside our team?

This is incredibly common for us. We’ll happily sit in meetings and provide an honest opinion and consult on what we would recommend.

Are there FEES to initially speak with someone at Honest America about my crisis situation?

Absolutely not. You may speak with us and find us incredibly annoying or feel we don’t click. Imagine having to pay for that? It’s so important you like the team who will be helping you with your crisis. You need to trust them and feel comfortable enough to share personal/embarrassing details.

We believe starting an initial chat with a fee feels a little off.
